The Diamond Pousette starts from the sidelines and takes 8 bars / steps to complete.
For this formation 1st Man and 2nd lady start with their left foot.
All-round (Full) pousette
|1||1s & 2s dance in & take both hands with their partner to form a diagonal line. (1st lady & 2nd man finish back to back in the middle).|
|2||Each couple dance diagonally out (1s to mens side 2s to ladys side) and turn a ¼ turn clockwise.|
|3||Each couple dance diagonally into the middle (1s down, 2s up).|
|4||Each couple turn ¼ clockwise to form another diagonal line (1st man & 2nd lady finish back to back in the middle)|
|5||Each couple dance diagonally out (1s to ladys side 2s to mens side) and turn a ¼ turn clockwise.|
|6||Each couple dance diagonally into the middle (1s up, 2s down).|
|7||Each couple turn clockwise to their own side of the dance (facing each other in the middle).|
|8||All dance backwards into their own place .|
- According to the RSCDS manual "For this step only, the setting step is modified by bringing the foot into third position in front".
